List of Leaping Shadows episodes

The second season of Leaping Shadows premiered on January 6, 2017 on TRF One.

Production Edit

Prior to the start of the season, TRF announced that the season would have a total of 18 episodes. However, after the mid-season finale, it was announced that "another 13 episodes will be ordered," instead of the expected number of 9. TRF also announced that each season would likely have 22 episodes from now on.

Departure of Kathleen Brien Edit

Following the finale of the first season of the show, Brien announced that the Main Role on the show was too much to her; causing her to have many "long work days". This is due to the fact she hosts The Katy Show, commentates the Fantasia Contest for Freyhurst, produces music and acts in Leaping Shadows. She also added that this "would not be the end of Amy Suggs" as she would still have a recurring role in the show, but would leave the main cast. The news led the producers to cast some new characters to replace her role, but "perhaps be related to her character."

Casting Edit

On 26 August 2016, Kathleen Brien officially left the main cast after rumors sparked of not renewing her contract. Dana Rodriguez also officially joined the main cast on 2 October following her recurring role in the previous season. Miriam Carson also announced that Domingo Curtis would leave the main cast, however later announced that he would remain as his role was "necessary." Zachary Cain also announced that he "would appear in much more episodes" in season 2, upgrading himself to a recurring role.
